Position Summary
Nestle has a fantastic opportunity for a focused individual to join the Finance team as a Finance Executive, this role will play a key role within the Sales Organisation whilst sitting within the Finance Function. This role is responsible for accurate and timely tracking and reconciliation of our trade spend. Ensuring that customer invoices (deductions) are accurately reconciled, pricing issues are resolved and root causes are identified and addressed, to provide clear action on trade accruals to ensure a smooth book close each month.
This is an entry-level position for a recent graduate or someone who is already working in finance looking to complete their CIMA qualification. As part of the benefit package we provide financial support towards your CIMA training and ensure that you get all the training you need at work too.
A day in the life of a Sales Finance Executive…
This opportunity will provide timely and accurate financial information to the sales teams, the key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for data entry of Sales In/ Out data into a post evaluation tool.
- Ensuring that all trade accruals are accurately maintained on a monthly basis to ensure accounts are accurate each month.
- Leading the Book Close meetings with the Account Manager to ensure all accruals, risks and opportunities are discussed and understood.
- Responsible for accurate & compliant settlement of customer invoices and identifying root cause of an invalid deduction and/or price claims to drive right first time

As the successful candidate you will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, pro-actively identify any issues or risks. Good communication skills are important to enable financial information to be understood across the team. A strong team player is essential as well as;
- Interest and passion to develop a career in Finance.
- Ability to tackle numerical challenges and loves numbers
- Strong planning competencies with a good attention to detail
- Prior experience working with systems including Excel functionality (look-ups & pivot tables) and experience using SAP would be desirable.
- Finance or related education or experience or part-qualified accountant would be advantageous.
